Safety switches
A safety switch cuts the power in a fraction of a second when current leaks to earth, which is what stops a shock from becoming an injury. Every circuit in your home should be protected by one.
What the job covers
- Adding safety switches to circuits that have none
- Testing the ones you have
- Finding the fault when one keeps tripping
- Written results for landlords
Testing your own
Press the test button on each safety switch every three months. It should trip straight away. If it does not, or it will not reset, call us.
